The PASS program

The Plan to Achieve Self-Support (PASS) program is a fantastic initiative aimed at helping individuals with disabilities, like myself, work towards achieving their employment and career goals while also maintaining their Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. It allows us to set aside income and resources for specific expenses related to our career development or education without affecting our overall benefits. Through the PASS program, I could allocate funds to cover expenses such as education, vocational training, assistive technology, or even starting a business, all in order to become more self-sufficient and less reliant on disability benefits. This program has the potential to be a real game-changer for individuals like me, who are determined to pursue their dreams and aspirations despite the challenges we face.
