I’m Not Afraid Of Being A Bad Artist

This life is short. We don't know when our time is up, which is why we can't be afraid of making mistakes artistically.

I truly believe our job is to create art while we're alive. I believe anyone can be an artist. I believe everyone can be an artist.

We were all given the gift to be Creators of our own worlds and artistic spaces. I probably make a lot of "mistakes" that triggers your inner critic. We all have that small voice that says loudly, "you can't do that! That's bad art! You don't know what you're doing."

But through my years of creating art, I believe our job is to overcome that censor that wants to stop you from being open and vulnerable. It's job is to keep us safe from anything that could harm our ego.

The ego is very sneaky.

We must use special tactics to develop ourselves into good artists. I've been practicing my art for several years now. One of the things I do to create art is set timers. For example, I would set a timer so I could do writing sprints without stopping until I fill up a page worth of content. This allows me to create without worrying about whether I'm making sense.

Art and creativity are closely related concepts. Art is a form of human expression that can take many different forms, including painting, sculpture, music, dance, literature, and more. Creativity, on the other hand, refers to the ability to generate new and original ideas, or to see things in a different way.

Artists are often considered to be highly creative individuals, as they use their imagination and intuition to create works of art that are unique and meaningful. However, creativity is not limited to the arts, and can be found in many different fields, such as science, technology, and business.

One of the key aspects of creativity is the ability to think outside the box and approach problems or challenges in a new and innovative way. This requires an open mind, a willingness to take risks, and a willingness to challenge traditional ways of thinking.

Many people believe that creativity is something that only a select few possess, but in reality, it is a skill that can be developed and cultivated. Some strategies for boosting creativity include seeking out new experiences, practicing mindfulness and meditation, collaborating with others, and engaging in activities that promote divergent thinking.

Overall, art and creativity are essential components of human culture and are instrumental in shaping our perceptions of the world around us. Whether through creating art, exploring new ideas, or solving complex problems, creativity is a vital aspect of human existence that should be celebrated and nurtured.
